This sleek Airship Teapot is cast from the original Art Deco mould that was first made in the 1920s to commemorate the long distance journeys of the Zeppelins. Production ceased in 1930 (following the crash of the British airship, R101). This teapot is finished in the original white glaze, and is highlighted in platinum lustre, which is applied by hand by skilled decorators.
